Austin to Phoenix

We got up at 5:00 in the morning to leave for a 14 hour drive to Phoenix Arizona - the longest leg of the trip. New Orleans to Austin

We got up at 5:30 in the morning to leave for a 9 hour drive to Austin Texas - the first hour was pretty dark but it wasn’t much better after dawn because it was gray, foggy, and it drizzled a bit. Knoxville to New Orleans

I started writing this when we were traveling from Austin TX to Phoenix AZ on Rt 10. Now we’re on Route 17 driving to the Grand Canyon. Here’s more updates: We left Knoxville around 5:30 in the evening and drove through the worst rain in the whole trip.
